The Brick Canopy House.
Residential Project at Mannarkkad, Palakkad, Kerala.
Rooted in raw materiality and bold geometry, this residence makes a striking first impression with its layered brickwork, deep reveals, and lush green terraces. The design plays with openness and enclosure — where breeze blocks filter light and privacy, and volumes appear to float above a quiet garden landscape.
The front pavilion, crowned by a tree within a porous brick frame, serves as both gateway and landmark — blurring the boundary between built and natural. Textures of concrete, brick, and soft planting are balanced in rhythm, creating a home that feels anchored, breathable, and unmistakably expressive.
