Micro-Cafe at Kaloor, Kochin

Micro-Cafe at Kaloor, Kochin

The Cornerframe Café.

Commercial Project at Kaloor, Kochin, Kerala.

Anchored at a bustling street edge, this micro café transforms a compact footprint into an urban statement. Defined by its deep green ribbed cladding, bold terracotta planes, and crisp black frames, the design creates a visual rhythm that catches the eye from afar. Large glass panels dissolve the boundary between barista and passerby, making the act of ordering coffee a street-side experience.

A projecting canopy extends the building’s presence onto the pavement, offering shade while framing views inward. Integrated planters soften the strong geometry, while the restrained palette allows texture and detail to take center stage. Balancing functionality with character, the café serves as both a pitstop and a place to pause — a small yet confident intervention in the urban landscape.
