Set amidst lush tropical foliage, this residence explores the interplay between openness and shelter. The built form embraces the site with two distinct wings connected through a shaded courtyard, while sloped roofs and deep overhangs respond sensitively to Kerala’s climate.
Textured concrete walls meet earthy terracotta tones, and vertical slats create a rhythmic dance of light and shadow. Every volume is detailed to invite ventilation and blur the boundaries between the inside and the garden. A restrained material palette, soft lighting, and layered greenery come together to create a home that is grounded, breathable, and alive.
